~ ~ ~ ~ Okay this painting was based on Florence Welch, from Florence and the Machine, but I changed it a bit because i didn't completely agree with the reference photo. The hair in this is particularly awesome, with all the colours and textures it's just so...substantial. I don't know if that's the right word to use, but bulky didn't sound particularly complimentary even though it would have been.
Yellowy-green is definitely an underused colour. It looks great in this. Brings it to life and all that jazz.
I need to try oil paints at somepoint. So long as Witty isn't around to scream "But it'll take forever to dryyyyy!" at me as if that would be the world's greatest tragedy.
